Learn to Play the Drumset

Drumset lessons at Eastern Shore Music School help students build strong musical skills, confidence, and a lasting love of music. Lessons are available for children ages 5 and up, as well as adult beginners and returning musicians.

Every student receives encouraging, individualized instruction shaped around their age, experience, and goals. Beginners learn healthy posture and hand position, how to read music, and how to play their first songs. As students progress, they develop technique, explore engaging repertoire, and gain the musicality and independence to enjoy playing for years to come.

Our teachers meet students where they are and help them take the next step with patience and clear guidance. Whether your goal is to play favorite songs, prepare for school ensembles, or build a lifelong hobby, lessons are tailored to make progress feel rewarding.
